The popularity of a solar garden owned by Traer Municipal Utilities has seen the project expand earlier this summer. In June, Traer added another 20kW of DC generation to their community-owned solar array. Last fall, the first phase of the project consisting of 40kW was installed (click here for previous article in The Informer). To date, a total of 52 TMU customers have purchased a portion of the shared array.
