"Electric Members, we have changed our hours for our basic workshop to better serve you. We understand that three days seemed like a big ask for some of our members. We have now gone to a two day “trial run” workshop. The workshop will start on Wednesday at 10 am and end at 2:30 pm on Thursday. We were able to fit the same amount of training into two almost full days. This will allow most to travel the morning of and also travel back home the next day. Our hope is that this will ease some of the burden of sending your valuable workforce to get excellent training."
This workshop offers valuable information and hands-on training for utility electric personnel. Utility workers, instructors, and product presenters will once again join together to bring you the latest industry information.
Topics include:
- Hand Ties / Armour Rods / Preforms
- Cable Prep
- Transformer Connections / Fusing
- Pole Setting & Framing
- Secondary Splicing & Wire Identification
- Secondary Risers
This workshop has a registration cap, and only several spots remain. To ensure you have a place, please register by clicking HERE.
* IAMU’s electric department now has basic and advanced workshops instead of overhead and underground. This workshop was previously titled “Overhead Workshop”.
