The 3rd Annual Energy Conference will kick off Tuesday, November 3 with Dave Berg of Dave Berg Consulting presenting the preconference workshop “Understanding Impacts of Distributed Solar Generation on Cost Recovery and Rates”. Immediately following the workshop, IAMU Executive Director Troy DeJoode will host a reception. Plan on joining us for this opportunity to network with your peers.
The general conference will start Wednesday with Iowa Utilities Board Chair Geri Huser talking about the “Energy Landscape of Iowa”. Sessions will include: Utility Scale Solar in Missouri, Natural Gas Rates, Conversion from Coal to Natural Gas in Ames, and Online Customer Interactions at Algona Municipal Utilities. The conference will wrap up Thursday with Dave Swanson stressing the importance of Safety.
