The Engineering and Safety Section of the Iowa Utilities Board and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s Pipeline Safety Inspector Training and Qualifications Division (TQ) are jointly hosting the 2016 Iowa TQ Pipeline Safety Conference. The Conference will be held February 23rd - 25th, 2016, at the Jordan Creek Holiday Inn & Suites in West Des Moines.
The three-day Conference is an opportunity for pipeline operators, gas industry personnel, management, engineers, superintendents, maintenance personnel of natural gas systems and local officials to receive updates on the latest state and federal pipeline safety regulations. Speakers include Jeff Weise (Associate Administrator - PHMSA), John Erikson( Vice President - APGA), Leticia Santos-Hernandez (Pipeline Safety Spec. Instructor – PHMSA), and many more. Those attending will learn about hot topics in the natural gas industry, meet face-to-face with industry experts, network with attendees and product suppliers, and receive information on the latest products.
