Kimber says she will miss working with IAMU members but is excited about the challenges of her new position. The ISU Electric Power Research Center was established in 1988. The ERPC promotes and expands research of particular interest to faculty and the companies who support the center through membership fees.
IAMU Energy Services Director Anne Kimber has been named Executive Director of the Electric Power Research Center (EPRC) at Iowa State University. Although Kimber will begin her new duties at ISU soon, she'll also continue working with some projects at IAMU. Kimber joined IAMU in 2000 and has helped the organization greatly expand member services in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy. Troy DeJoode, IAMU Executive Director, says Kimber’s strong leadership and deep commitment to municipal utilities will be greatly missed. “Anne has been a great advocate for municipal utilities and a trusted advisor to all of our members as the electric industry has evolved.”
