Why you should attend:

We will also discuss and review how to calculate customer load demand to determine the need for an excess flow valve or curb valve, properly size excess flow valves and meter sets, as well as how to properly conduct pressure tests.
- January 20th will be an indoor simulation where participants will conduct live pressure tests on newly installed service lines, damaged or repaired portions of service lines, and learn how to properly document and record all pertinent information for regulatory compliance. Additional training will also be provided on tracer wire installation, pipeline tapping, types of joining, and how to prevent accidental ignition.
