IAMU Natural Gas OQ Workshop

The 2014 IAMU Natural Gas OQ (Operator Qualification) workshop is rapidly approaching.  The two-day event will be held August 27 & 28, 2014 at the IAMU Training and Office Complex in Ankeny.

The OQ workshop provides public gas employees with the opportunity to learn more about the natural gas industry and to receive hands on training on a variety of topics.

Qualifications will be offered for each of the following;
Cathodic protection
External corrosion
Coatings
Holiday detection
Painting and jacketing above ground facilities
Installation of cathodic protection
Installation of impressed current system
Inspection, monitoring cathodic systems
Cadwelding
