“How We Got to Now with Steven Johnson” is a six-part serial program that, as excerpted from AWWA’s Water Service Insider e-newsletter of October 10, 2014, “… features examinations of the history and people behind innovations that have been instrumental in creating a successful modern society. The program’s segment entitled “Clean” will explore the history of clean drinking water and what mark its importance has left on our world.
“How We Got to Now With Steven Johnson” show producers worked with AWWA-Journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Michael McGuire, in the development of the “Clean” segment. McGuire is author of the popular book “The Chlorine Revolution: Water Disinfection and the Fight to Save Lives”, which chronicles the journey of disinfecting water systems with chlorine.”
The “Clean” program is the first of the six to air, edition 101, on Iowa Public Television, October 15, 8:00 p.m. (also rebroadcast three other times).
