Northwest Iowa Community College is hosting their 2nd Annual Powerline Safety Training & Conference, hosted in conjunction with the Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives.
The event can be attended on either Wednesday, April 29 or Thursday, April 30 (same info presented on both days so teams can alternate for coverage!) The event goes from 8:30-3:00 and includes a presentation by Stan Bray on Safety in the Workplace, and break-out sessions on topics including rigging, cable preparation, underground cable & fault locating, and rear lot machining.
The cost is $200/attendee, and lunch is provided.
