The American Public Power Association (APPA) announced it's annual Reliable Public Power Provider designations at their annual Engineering and Operations Technical Conference this week. And six of the 97 utilities recognized were IAMU members.
Muscatine Power & Water and Waverly Utilities were both named Diamond RP3 winners. Cedar Falls Utilities, Harlan Municipal Utilities, and Indianola Municipal Utilities were all given the Platinum designation. And Ames Municipal Electric was named a Gold RP3 utility.
